Throughout the history of
Mathematics many different types of numbers have been created – or discovered –
beyond the so called natural numbers. Numbers said to be negatives, fractional, vectors,
imaginary, transcendent and others appeared as results of specific operations and were
later incorporated among the available resources to realize every kind of calculations.
Despite mathematicians
consider numbers as "only numbers", we can notice that each one of these types
is more appropriate to describe certain specific portions of wholeness.
Imaginary numbers describe
better the subjective, psychic or non-real face of the cosmic totality. Applying the
resource of increasing the power of the four types of unit – positive real, negative
real, positive imaginary and negative imaginary – we can observe, in the abstract
world of mathematic symbols, the genesis of all elementary concepts essential to the
process of Creation itself. Without these, the One, undifferentiated and transcendental in
Its supreme plenitude, wouldn't be able to create anything.
Here we see evidence that the
process of cosmogenesis had its very beginning in the abstract realm of mathematic
entities, symbols and operations.

Every culture has its metaphysical foundations on the myths of origin that give meaning to it and try to explain why things exist. The myth of origin of contemporary civilization is the scientific theory of the big bang. It accounts for the origin of the physical universe with a tremendous primeval explosion that created every existing thing. Despite several gaps and controversy it raises, the evolution of the universe, of galaxies, of stars and our Solar System has been explained according to the view of that theoretical construct, which is supported by some experimental evidence.
However, the reason why the primeval universe has fragmented into galaxies and the
appearance of life are puzzles not yet resolved. On the origins of life, however, new
facts detected in the last few years are changing the prevailing view we had of the
universe till last century, into a more friendly relationship between man and the cosmos.
But, as the dominant species on planet Earth, our actions don't show a responsible behavior to the eyes of the galactic community.

In many fields of
contemporary scientific investigation, there is a growing concern that 4-dimensional
space-time – the standard frame of modern physics – cannot account for all
phenomena observed by science nor explains them properly. Not only the psychological
phenomena so called paranormal remain unexplained, in this dimensional frame, but also the
understanding of many quantum physics experiments have been driven into insoluble
paradoxes, as far as time is considered a linear, one-dimensional, one-way flow.
A 6-dimensional lattice is
proposed here, able to hold the most daring propositions of physics, biology and
psychology that came out in the last half of 20th century. By the same token, the
Newtonian-Cartesian paradigm and of materialist-mechanist approach are scrutinized to find
out how much they were a hindrance for the proper interpretation of important, yet not
fully understood experiments, not even by their own authors.
The rejection of the
subjective face of totality placed 20th century since to an impasse, but it is the key
that opens the doors of the new science of the third millennium.
